I am currently leading our conversion project from Junxure desktop to Junxure Cloud. My main focus is teaching our clients and team how to best navigate the new product. I also play an essential role in preparation for our onboarding process and always provide deep knowledge of all our AdvisorEngine products. Helping clients is my top priority.
What brought me here
I am proud to say that I served in the United States Army for thirteen years. I spent the first ten years in Armor as a driver, loader, gunner, and a tank commander. The remaining three years, I served as an Army Recruiter. It was very rewarding to make lasting impressions on young teenagers – helping them figure out what they wanted most in life.
After the Army, I joined the Norandex Building Materials team – they offer residential and commercial building products to professional contractors I spent ten years with Norandex, and when the housing market crashed in 2008, I was let go due to downsizing. Luckily, I found my way to the Junxure team shortly thereafter. As I reflect on what brought me here, it is the patience and leadership I developed in all of my experiences that make me a valued member of the AE team.
How I balance life
I balance life by abiding by the rule: work is work and play is play. I make sure to keep them both separate. When I am “playing,” I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson and exploring new places with my girlfriend. I am actually the Activities Director for our local Raleigh Harley Davidson H.O.G chapter. We’re all about riding and having fun. When I can swing it, I also enjoy a good round of golf.
My favorite quote
My dad instilled this in me when I was growing up, “If you don’t ask, you don’t get it ” – Mahatma Gandhi
What I want to know most in life
Is there life after death?
Who inspires a sense of adventure in me
Definitely my girlfriend inspires a sense of adventure for me. We like to travel together and go places we have never been before. We especially like experiencing together places that either one of us have been while the other hasn’t – frankly, we just like to take off and go!
