I collaborate with our design and product teams to create AdvisorEngine’s modern, open architecture platforms. Focusing on user-interface, I oversee the building and implementation of our technology. I rely on my expertise, drawn from years of experience building interactive, financial technology, to adapt and deliver superior functionality.
I joined the AdvisorEngine team through the acquisition of Wealthminder. At Wealthminder, I served as a lead front-end developer, designing and creating new features and functionalities to help financial advisors connect with clients. Prior to Wealthminder, I was part of CGI Federal where I consulted with the U.S. government and maintained the website for Medicare. It was during this time where I realized I preferred working in the private sector, specifically with start-ups. Start-ups tend to have the latest and greatest, rather than outdated technology.
I balance life by starting each day with an early morning workout. I also enjoy playing beach volleyball; I manage a team through a local league. There are three beach volleyball courts right outside the AdvisorEngine office, which makes it very convenient.
Exploring the New York music scene with friends is another passion of mine. There is an endless amount of venues and artists to choose from. I am pretty sure I could spend all my money simply going to concerts and enjoying music.
“Know thyself” – Socrates
Why do we get déjà vu? Is it some kind of unknown ability of the mind to predict certain events in the future?
I have competing thoughts on who inspires a sense of adventure in me. But two people come to mind. First, my grandfather; he’s very light-hearted, social, and always ready to travel anywhere. It seems like he is always taking a cruise here or flying there. I admire him. Second, would be Elon Musk. Musk is thinker and a doer. His vision and forward thinking is so important.
